What legislation is under consideration that affects you? This wiki will try to answer this question by giving everyone a place to discover, discuss and agree on what laws should be changed, how they should be changed, how others want to change them, and how that affects our lives.
Initially, one primary goal of this wiki is to discuss and agree upon an open, standard format for storing key information (bill text, tags, proposed modifications, and so on) about upcoming legislation. Storing this in a standard format will facilitate collaboration by allowing for convenient (or automated) searches by advocacy organizations across the net.
Started by Silona Bonewald in 2006, the scope of this site is whatever we make it to be. From your local school boards to items being considered at the United Nations, we have room for it all. The main questions we're exploring is how to present this information in a way that is useful, in order to engage, educate and empower the people using the site to make positive change in our world.
