Legislation:Standard
From Compendium of Legislation
I would like to post standards here. But encourage discussion in the Forums. And to post about on going development Here
Things we should consider when creating a Open Standard are:
- Process
- Constraints
- Principals
- finite addressibility
My rough first pass at a standard would be:
For a Piece of legislation:
- <UID> uniquely generated for that fragment
First a portion that identifys the piece in a findable fashion Considerations are it needs to be general enough to work for other countries, city and local governments
- <bill_num> SB 5
- <session> 78 texas legislature
- <date> feb 12 2005
- <locale> From google maps? texas state
- <section_num.part_A.ParagraphC> page 48 sec 2 para 1-5
- <content> Enter the 5 paragraphs here
- <sponsor> Rep Frank
Second a portion that makes it searchable
- <group_posting> like ACLU
- <group_action> Amend these paragraphs out of Sb 5
- <group_tags> Banning municipal wireless
some other suggestions
- <trackback_url> to complete listing of bill and it's history
- <trackback_UID> to old version of legislative fragment (can change action to bill is safe now with amendment)
